I have added zstream to my napp-it cs web-gui to replicate ZFS between
different operating systems. Zstream is a single binary Go application
that encrypts data, adds a buffer like mbuffer, can limit throughput
like pv and can show progress. It can replace ssh, mbuffer or netcat
transfers

- encrypted zstream instead ssh, netcat or mbuffer for remote replication

- Antivir like Avast may block zstream.
This is a common false positiv problem with Go apps, allow zstream
