David, at the last IA Summit I know a number of us from the IAI
offered to help partner with you or contribute materially or otherwise
to Interaction08, but we never heard anything back from you on that.

I can see the value of "standing on your own two feet" but it's not
like you haven't had opportunities to partner with other orgs around
events.

It seems that the IAI and IxDA share many members, including leaders
from both groups, so it ought to be easy to collaborate where
appropriate.

You also suggested that a wider UX group follow the example some IAI
members set this year in trying to coordinate IA-related proposals to
SXSW. This seems like a good idea, and fairly easy to execute (next
time around).

Aren't you a member of the IAI? (You're on the members-only list, aren't you?)
