Someone should create a Twitter visualization app, where you can visualize the geo-location of the people you're following. Maybe a mashup using the Twitter API and Google Maps. Maybe Google Earth! Then you could zoom in on your friend's exact location, peer into the Starbuck's window, and imagine your friend drinking a soy latte.
