A Russian design firm, namely Art Lebedev Studio is designing input devices with OLED screens. (see: http://www.artlebedev.com/everything/optimus/)
Well, I get idea of replacing the standard keyboard with the one that has customizable look and functions. But the "Mini Three", a product that extends the standard keyboard with three dynamic buttons and tiny OLED screens, has just puzzled me! (see: http://www.artlebedev.com/everything/optimus-mini/) The Mini Three provides one touch access to user's favorite programs and displays dedicated visual content like world clocks or your baby's web cam on tiny screens. In this case it also extends the standard display. It would work fine with the ctrl+alt+del keys for sure:) But why one reads an RSS feed from limited screen while this tiny screen is already connected to a standard display? Yes, Mini Three also displays RSS content. Anyway I really like the final slot machine scene from the below Gizmodo video; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wcNwu7bw6yw Etkin Ciftci Interaction Designer Bilende, Istanbul ________________________________________________________________ Welcome to the Interaction Design Association (IxDA)!
