Discussing problems is one of the best ways to learn.  I'm pretty sure
nobody meant to be insulting.

Anyway, a couple more observations:

-It's not immediately obvious what the coloured boxes on the home page
represent, what the words mean, or what will happen when you click on
one.  It's pretty clear after you do it once, but perhaps the giant
box of seemingly random colours and text would scare away some people
before they try it.

-Could colour be used to represent something more meaningful than
personal preference of the uploader?  I know that colour isn't a very
good way to represent information, but surely there's something useful
it could tell us about the music.
