Hey everybody,
Was so cool to meet all the Boston IxDA'ers at the Boston Beer Works social last week! Thanks for showing this NY recruiter a good time. ;) I have an IA job at an interactive ad agency w/ a very diverse, creative client list----the culture is very relaxed, casual/funky, and creative RULES the roost like no other place. I must be demure about sharing the client's name here, but I'll tell you that once folks find out who it is, they get pretty excitable. Here's the gist: INFORMATION ARCHITECT - leading creative interactive agency, Boston **they are also looking for a Boston-based WEB DESIGNER too, if y'all know anyone, but this description will focus on the IA** Be part of a team that produces some of the world's most creative and provocative interactive advertising in the world. Projects will run the gamut (new sites, site reconstruction, microsites, etc.) on a diverse Fortune 500 client list. This role requires very little travel (typically less than one day per month). The ideal candidate will have 3-5+ years experience in the following: Translating interactive concepts into effective information architectures including interface schematics, screen flows, site maps, and other documentation Preparing IA documentation (site architectures, wire frames, use cases and task flows, etc.) to be used by the production team Identifying and communicating clients' usability challenges Performing heuristic evaluations and usability tests, as well as documenting results and translating the findings into design improvements Agency experience preferred, but not required if the fit is right in all other areas (work history, cultural fit, etc) Interested?
