I set up #ixd on irc.freenode.net this a.m. after I posted my last response earlier this am.
Not to play favorites--Just cause it was a simple enough thing to do. I think the more channels the better personally. I just want to have access to a community. If this doesn't end up being the channel we use, I am not worried about it.
