I have to agree with Manish on using Observer to have stakeholders
watch the sessions. Our set up is such that we have:

* the room where the study takes place (running recorder)

* a control room attached with a one way mirror (running observer)
where one of my teammates takes notes and logs tasks

* a separate unattached room, running observer running through a
projector, where we play host to stakeholders and other members of
the project team.

This set up as served us phenomenally well, scoring us big wins in a
number of projects, as well as spreading the message of the value my
team offers to across the enterprise.
