I don't have a Master's degree yet, and, in my opinion, this (maybe combined with other reasons) has stopped at least from getting 3 design jobs so far. I have a 4-year Computer Science University degree, and that, together with my experience in web development, still seems to make some companies want me more as a developer. I'll admit that one thing that I've been missing myself is being able to say "I'm a designer" and actually having some confidence in my voice when I say it and something extra to back it up. There are lost of things I expect to get from a Design program (better skills, better knowledge, hands-on experience, stronger portfolio, confidence, diploma etc.) and this has been my top priority for quite some time. I was fortunate enough to get into the one at Malmö, and I will be starting it this autumn.
