Wow, that looks pretty cool! Regarding whether this holds any added value to designers, I would say that the border between prototyping with pen and pencil, or with wireframes on a computer is getting blurred with your Wiimote app.
For example, I tend to draw things on paper before I wireframe them in Visio. I do have a Wacom tablet, but I still like the feel of actual pencil and paper better. Maybe the Wiimote app would be an interesting alternative. This remark is from a more sensory perspective. I do share your doubt is on the social, collaborative aspect of a whiteboard. I don't think it would be very useful for prototyping, but I guess that is inherent to the task.
