This is a wonderful resource! I will put my pattern-geek hat on for a moment, though, to say that I'm not entirely comfortable with the way the term pattern is sometimes used to mean "gallery of examples." Don't get me wrong, I love galleries of examples. They are awesome.
Also, I think the individual clusters of images can be called patterns in the sense that they can plausibly be said to depict examples of patterns. What's missing, for me, is the next step of abstracting what they have in common and capturing that in some descriptive form.
