Since most of you use the email version of IxDA here are my comments..

There are a very FEW people I have respect for. They started the
IxDA, and I have met and talked to most of them one-on-one. I have
huge respect for Dan Saffer for taking on the entire SIGCHI
community. They are the people that are living their lives to
actually better this thing we call "existence" without the personal
agenda of higher education creds. The fact that Dan and Adaptive Path
didn't give a crap about the politics around diabetic pump design,
wow! You have apx 85 years to live if you live in a Western Culture.
If you are a billionaire, you have access to the institutes that have
been created that hire the smartest kids out of MIT to solve the
mortality problem.

I challenge anyone that posts to the IxDA to spend a few weeks in
Mumbai, India. I only wish that I had not wasted the 1980s in a punk
band after visiting India. They are the smartest, most talented,
good/honest people I have ever come across, and India knows what life
is all about.

Some of the people I see on IxDA are what I consider to be the
"affluent globalists" that think they know it all and use the IxDA
to win arguments in coffee shops around Carnegie Melon. It is the
"Silver Spoon" profession of the future. I turned down a
scholarship to CMU after hanging out in the coffee bars around
Pittsburgh and hearing what affluent 18 year old kids thought about
the world. I just want to say, for the record, that I spent 5 years
researching all the IxD schools in the world, and Shellie at CMU is
the only person that thinks like me. I hope that CMU continues to
keep the bar high, and not give in on IxD trend. Shellie, like me,
has been through the disaster of healthcare in the United States.
When I explained to my Indian coworkers that one of my best friends
parents are in jail because of our healthcare systems evil side, they
couldn't beleive it. Imagine, being a truck driver your entire life,
living in rural Kansas, having a heart attack, and being air lifted
to a hospital. SInce he did not tell them he was indigent, he lost
his business, his life, and his legal battles and is now in prison in
Kansas.

So go ahead and argue about the placement of buttons in a form. Luke
Wroblewski wrote the damn book. People like Luke give me hope for
this "so called industry". Everyone on here knows there was an
episode of Beverly Hills 90210 where one of those idiots went to
Pratt to become an IxD.

For the people that know what CERN, the collapse of trading firms in
the United States, and the production of the film called
"Neuromancer" is really all about, contact me.

I am looking for good people that care about saving lives, solving
real, hardcore multimodal problems, and want to design REAL software
that WILL be used by REAL people. Our software is in one out of every
three doctors computers in the United States. I guarantee it will
challenge everything you learned studying under Casey Reas in Italy.

MITRE is not going to change the world like they think they are even
thought the have, what I consider to be, the best designers in the
world.

I have been wanting to say this for a very long time, and yes, and
just hit the send "post to list" button and I could care less what
this does to my street cred.
