Hello all,

I recently discovered Google insight, which allow to have quickly
informations about keywords used on google search engine. I found some very
strange data..

I tried to do a popularity comparison between usability, web analytics,
interaction design and information architect here:

http://www.google.com/insights/search/#cat=&q=interaction%20design%2Cweb%20analytics%2Cinformation%20architect%2Cusability&geo=&date=&clp=&cmpt=q<http://www.google.com/insights/search/#cat=&q=interaction%20design,web%20analytics,information%20architect,usability&geo=&date=&clp=&cmpt=q>

I was extremely surprised when I seen a very strong decline over the years
on usability research.

In order to have more information, I looked at job proposition trends here:

http://www.indeed.com/jobtrends?q=usability%2C+interaction+designer%2C+web+analytics%2C+information+architect&l=&relative=1<http://www.indeed.com/jobtrends?q=usability,+interaction+designer,+web+analytics,+information+architect&l=&relative=1>

It appears that usability job proposition are growing well over the years.

I am confused. People are less interested in usability but there is more and
more job in usability field? Or maybe google data are wrong? Or maybe I
don't know how to interpret them.

What are your hypotheses?

Thank you all,

Chiwah LIU.
