Bill Buxton was Alias Chief Scientist at the time much of that research was conducted, and under his tenure Alias products began to integrate the research. The most notable use was in Sketchbook Pro -- which was designed around gestural interaction -- but Maya and Studio Tools also use these menus, as I recall.
