It is hard for a Peronsa to represent classes or segments of users. Chapman and Milham put it far better than I could. But surely this is better than something that is purely fictional. Are they useful as a good communication tools? Probably not as you are communicating something that is fictional, and does not represent anything. Mike suggest just using the real data subjects. Why not just put a fake name on one of data subjects for external use?
