Well, aside from the fact that this MacBook Whell is a joke, I think there is something interesting about it...which other text input interfaces we could think of, considering that we have smaller devices being made everyday?
Last year we saw Swype coming out: http://www.swypeinc.com/ And recently I saw NanoTouch, a MS Research project: http://www.technologyreview.com/computing/21799/?a=f I think this points to a trend for creating new interfaces for our ever-shrinking displays.
