The video only shows it receiving a call, but I can't imagine placing a call is extremely easy, let alone firing off a SMS. This device seems like it would be a prime candidate to rely heavily on voice recognition since you can't exactly be in a loud environment when using it for a phone call. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
