I hate the design idiom. The instrument is underused, though. Accordions are jazz. They are superfluous. They are a symptom of a cancer that should be cut out.
The cause is senseless page bloat. Focus on tracking, prediction, and reduction. And you'll see that the need for accordions goes away. In other words.
