Before CS4 and I think even CS3 I would open all the source files in one
window and then drag them as a folder into the target canvas size window,
position the with the rule of
thirds<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rule_of_thirds> ,
and export the layers as animations (from imageReady ick..), and then rename
them to fit the 'framework' dynamics.
Those were the good old days though.

CS4 is kind of interesting. The default tabbed window canvas had me for
awhile. The Arrange Documents icon didn't yell out to me this is what you
really want to do. I think PS CS4 should have a preset dual monitor screen
mode though. Who doesn't use PS with two monitors? jk
