It has been a long time since I have heard a reference to Magnus, robot fighter (I have the 1st issue from 1963 I think. I still have a few issues of the Magnus comic books in my attic and he was a hero of mine :-). I always thought that the ability to destroy metal with one's hands was a useful skill. There have been advances in robot technology and a recent TV show that focused on the ethical issues around the use of robotic technology.
So, perhaps there is a serious issue about the user experience associated with robotic technology.
