Thanks guys for your input! I hadn't seen Google's SMS services (not sure they're that well known here in Spain?!). Looking at their website, (www.google.ca/intl/en_us/mobile/default/sms.html) there are a good few sample messages which have given me a few ideas of things to try out and the spacing that might make the messages more legible.
__ I think the free, instructive error and help messages are gonna be essential, and an easy way for people to store the format guide in their phones. I hadn't thought of stickers, but had thought credit card sized service guides could be handy. I guess I'll see where and how they want to market it, maybe a combination. The vCard idea is definitely worth looking into too. __ Yep, I'm in Spain, so the word acronym model isn't used here, at least it wouldn't be common. It looks like the number will have a pattern like 9694, though I do wonder how many people may mix up the 4 and the 6...? Talking of messages being sent to the wrong number, we've been told that around 20% of the messages we receive will be intended for other services. I wondered if this figure rang a bell with you Fredrik? It sounds kind of high, (this would be a dedicated number, not a shared one). Anyway, thanks for your comments. I'll keep you posted on any interesting developments, Elizabeth . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
