Hi Dave, It sounds like you've got a really good handle on the process of "narrowing" the table. Since you've been given the opportunity to rework the table, you might see how much latitude you have in reworking the process.
I'd guess that the legacy app table is so big because many different people use it to make different kinds of decisions.
