Inmedius is looking for an intern to work on a variety of Interaction Design and Graphic Design projects. Tasks will range from visualizing user interfaces for desktop and web applications to creation of documents and diagrams for presentations and design documentation. All work will be directed by a professional Interaction Designer. The intern will gain experience with design processes and techniques as applied to software development in the context of business and industry.

Formal Design training is necessary. The intern is expected to be creative and have high standards of craft. They should have good communication skills and the ability to work well in a group. Previous experience doing similar work will be a significant plus, but is not expected.

The intern should be comfortable working on the Macintosh platform. They must also have a basic understanding of the Windows OS. The public is more familiar with
bad design than good design.
It is, in effect, conditioned
to prefer bad design, because
that is what it lives with.
The new becomes threatening,
the old reassuring.
