I ran into this video showing a Windows interface concept designed by
a guy called Cullen Dudas. There's really no information of it
besides from what's shown in the video, but from what I can tell, it
looks fresh and innovative (eye candy). I'll let you critique the
technical stuff.

As the author describes it - "Copenhagen shatters the composite
prototypical event patterns people have developed for their OS,
Windows.

It is a collision of months of research, high visibility, proper
affordance, accurate conceptual models, visceral experience,
behavioral experience, and reflective experience, all coming together
to create an amazing user experience."
