Kishor - I think it comes down to the question,  'Who are these
personas for?' If you will be the only one who will be looking at
them I say 'skip it.'  

However, if there is a development team involved, or other
stakeholders who could benefit from having them at hand it might make
sense to build one (quick and dirty).  I say this because I have
employed Cooper's (http://tinyurl.com/on8lln) methodology of having
personas built and present at all times when stakeholders are making
design decisions. After all it's not the IX Designer who most
benefit from the personas. Many times it's the stakeholders who will
apply their 'elastic user' to fit whatever opinion they have on a
given matter, rather than matching up requirements against a
consistent set of needs.
