TheLadders.com is looking for a progressive Associate Creative Director with a
killer portfolio to join our design team. If you’re part artist,
part techie - we’re talking about you. You’re the rare individual who
understands how an integrated interactive experience should look - and
function. Not to mention, you have the talent and dedication to execute
it. More than just a designer, you also have the ability to concept,
produce and troubleshoot. Needless to say, a knack for multi-tasking
helps.
You’ll work on online and offline projects ranging from site design and
interactive marketing campaigns to DM and collateral print work. And probably a
t-shirt here and there.
For
five years, we’ve found success by delivering intelligent, engaging
design solutions. You’ll join a tight-knit group of creative geniuses
who have collaborated to deliver stand-out work for our expanding
business lines. This is a great opportunity for someone with agency
experience who’s looking to move to a smaller, thriving shop.
Responsibilities
• Translate wireframes and other requirements documents into first-class
user experience designs
• Design functional user interfaces for all of TheLadders.com online
properties
• Concept and execute creative for online DM campaigns (including emails,
flash banners, etc) and offline collateral (print, etc)
• Enforce and evolve TheLadders.com style guide efforts
Requirements
• 8 to 10+ years experience designing Web sites
• MUST have a portfolio link
• Previous work experience should be "Web Designer", “Art Director”- this is
not a web developer or programmer position
• Detail-oriented, Strong-willed and sharp-witted
• Experience managing a team required
• Successfully deliver on-brand, on-strategy creative leveraging
user-centered, transactional design methodologies
• Eye for detail and typography are key measures for this position
• Worked in fast-paced design environment, worked on corporate design
projects
• Information Architecture experience and training a plus
• BA, BFA, MA or MFA
• Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash web banners, HTML, and CSS skills required
• Must have experience designing applications (not just interactive
marketing)
