I think that "add to favorites" implies local storage of the reference, while "add to my wishlist" implies server-based storage which is accessible from anywhere (and in the case of Amazon, by more than just yourself).
"Save for later" is ambiguous, however. It might be via a cookie (local, and possibly volatile, storage), session state (highly volatile), or server-based.
