Hello, To add to what Caroline said, if you have room, add a couple of control questions. These should be inserted pseudo-randomly, and should be copies of the most important questions in the survey, but with different wording. This will give you a tool to double-check the answers and make sure the respondent is consistent in her opinion (you can compare and remove the respondents that give very different answers to the real item vs the control item).
As for the sample, you said this is for existing customers. Well, take a bit of time and pick a sample that's representative to the entire population of users, and email them, asking to complete the survey. Maybe offer them a coupon to spend on-site, or some other incentive. Other than that... limesurvey 2 is really good, but it's only in alpha. Keep an eye out for it! The current version can be used, try *http://www.limeservice.com/*<http://www.limeservice.com/> * *for a free account. Also, I think wufoo.com might be a solution. You can quickly design any form you like, and the reports are very useful. ________________________________________________________________ Welcome to the Interaction Design Association (IxDA)!
