FILTER has an amazing one-year contract opportunity in downtown Seattle for a UX/Interaction Designer. Working on conceptualizing and producing designs for print and electronic media, the UX/Interaction Designer will provide a consistent visual style while collaborating closely with the team.
Were looking for someone with at least five years of experience working on software and/or interactive projects. And while a keen eye for design is crucial, were also looking for someone who has a team approach, loves to collaborate and has a great sense of humor. This position is in an office that both works hard and plays hard (did we mention Rock Band?), so our ideal candidate is an exceptional UX/Interaction Designer who enjoys solving problems and working in a team setting. WHAT YOULL BE DOING Work with Interaction (UX) design lead and team to design and produce software interface Duties may include application wireframing, visual design of interface elements such as menus, notifications, and application interface, working with brand, motion, PM and development teams to define and refine the user experience SKILLS YOULL NEED Must be very familiar with Photoshop and Illustrator Strong interaction and visual design skills 5+ years of experience working on software and/or other interactive projects Must be able to clearly articulate ideas and solutions Must be a team player who enjoys collaborating Must have a sense of humor!
