Are you a skilled designer who can also think through complex UX interactions and do rapid iteration on design problems? FILTER is seeking a User Experience Designer with expertise in InfoPath for a 6 month contract opportunity in Redmond.
The User Experience Designer will be responsible for designing user interfaces for web, software, and/or hardware products. Writing functionality design specifications, designing and implementing prototypes, mock ups, performing task analysis and other responsibilities will also fall under the role of the UX Designer. To land this gig, you need to have at least 5 years of work related experience, plus exceptional creative skills and the ability to generate design ideas. Expertise in InfoPath is a must. WHAT YOULL BE DOING Designing user interfaces for web, software, and/or hardware products Writing functionality design specifications Designing and implementing prototypes, mock ups, task analysis, usability studies, personas, user flows, wireframes, style guides, navigational structures, and affinity diagrams Generating design ideas, presenting and selling designs to product group Understanding customer needs and motivations and integrating them into product design to contribute to user features and functionality Acting as consultant to other team leads and may manage external production and design resources SKILLS YOULL NEED Expertise in InfoPath Able to do visual design, work with complex web apps and solutions, and perform UX related tasks Able to do rapid iteration on design problems (with the deliverable being wireframes) 5 years plus work related experience required Strong creative skills and ability to generate design ideas required Advanced experience in creating and implementing usability studies, personas, user flows, wireframes, style guides, navigational structures, and affinity diagrams Strong communication skills as well as the ability to work independently A BIT ABOUT FILTER FILTER is a full-service creative resources company that connects industry-leading companies with the very best creative talent throughout the West Coast.
