My colleague recently posted an in depth analysis about designing for
the Chinese market. It's a nice break down of 10 considerations and
1 caveat that will be a good primer for anyone interested, especially
new businesses.

One of the most interesting things that I've gathered from this
research is that the Chinese consumer population isn't looking to
"Westernize" per se, but instead they want to modernize their own
lifestyle while borrowing from Western conventions.
