Hi Sunil - I recommend you check out SMI. I started using their technology for eye-tracking studies and found their solution to be excellent. Reach out to Jennifer Knodler. Her email is [email protected]. She had a booth at the IxDA conference so you may have seen her there.
Their solution like a few others does not require users to wear any equipment. The participant eye are calibrated at the beginning with a quick little task in which you ask the user to follow a dot around the screen. I would be happy to help answer any questions you may have once you get started with running your first study. The study design is dependent on what you want to learn, but I have found using eye-tracking MUCH more powerful than running a usability study without it. Particularly, if the site you are testing has a lot of pictures. Your client will be able to get fixation data using eye-tracking that otherwise you would never get through analytics or other testing. Feel free to reach out with any other questions directly to me. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
