I have been very happy with prgmr.com VPS hosting.

They have a nice package for LOPSA members:

$8/month, a LOPSA member now gets 512MiB Ram, 12GiB disk and 80GiB transfer. 

You could build a nice little mail stack there to hang onto your mail and even
do some or all of your filtering.
