Oh, man, I cannot overstress how important to your long-term hearing health 
this tip is. I am only 46 now, and so deaf that I can't hear popcorn popping
when
I'm standing right next to it. Long exposures to noise are the most likely
cause
of my problem.

Protect your hearing; it's *very* valuable, and without protection, you
won't know 
trouble is brewing until it is too late.
