Ontario is largely the same, with IT workers ("Information technology
professionals who use specialized knowledge and professional judgement
to work with information systems based on computers and related
technologies") exempt from hours of work, overtime, daily rest times,
etc, legislation.I've had employers give me time in lieu, but they're under no obligation to do so.
