Well it would indicate to me, that application of exempt positions might have been an incorrect assessment from HR. Otherwise why would there be this modification to the existing Act?
When I've been on hourly pay (two separate jobs) I've always received overtime. Both jobs were over the $27.56/hr mentioned in the proposal.
