If you're interested in going the dark fiber route, talk to FiberTech, http://fibertech.com/. They already have a fairly decent fiber presence in the NJ area, so they may be able to extend to your locations for a reasonable price. And (with all carriers) negotiate that price. In some cases you can get installation fees waived in exchange for a longer contract commitment, etc.
Also, even if Verizon is your only option, remember there are many sides to Verizon. If you can get Verizion FIOS service at both locations you could do the PTP VPN over that and be fairly confident that the last mile at both sites is independent from your other circuit. We've got an office in CT that is setup that way with Verizon MPLS for the primary circuit and Verizon FIOS for the backup circuit. -David _______________________________________________ Discuss mailing list [email protected] https://lists.lopsa.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/discuss This list provided by the League of Professional System Administrators http://lopsa.org/
