You have an interesting take on dogs vs cats. I tend to think the
difference is neediness; wanting attention and praise.

Dog walks into a room:
(Jumps on people) "Want to take me for a walk? C'mon walk me. Walk? Ball?
Throw a ball for me. What about a treat? I deserve a treat. Throw a ball.
C'mon, I won't chew the furniture if you give me toy. Walk me! Now!! Walk
me!!!"

Cat walks into a room:
"What's up? I'm gonna go do my thing. See you later."

I say sysadmins are usually cats.
