Everyone,

I've been looking forward to seeing the election results, as I'm sure
many of you are as well. However, the election ended Friday, and no
results have been announced.

Can someone from the Leadership Committee chime in about why we
haven't seen the announcement of the results yet? It's an electronic
system, so the results should have been available immediately.

Similarly, there's no mention in the Bylaws or Policies concerning the
process for election result announcement, public availability of the
raw data (anonymized, of course, for independent analysis and
verification), on-boarding process of new board members, or any
official timeline for any of these items. Having been involved with
non-profits in the past in the areas of management and governance,
this seems to me like an oversight that ought to be discussed and
rectified.

I don't mean to come across as a jerk--just a concerned LOPSA member. :)

Kind regards,

Mike
