What I would like to do is take the SAGE (or is it USNIX) salary survey and see 
the difference. That one is unbiased and it would be a good thing to see the 
difference. 
I do agree that a report like this from a head hunter might be toward the 
higher side to try and draw in clients.

In response to what one person said about them trying to shoe horn you into a 
position. I was caught by that on my first venture into the job circuit using a 
head hunter. My ego was inflated when I got the call and things looked good but 
within 6 months I was gone. But you have to go into these things with your eyes 
open and be realistic.
