So, I just did the upgrade cert from 2008r2 and wow there are a LOT of features added (or made more obvious) to server 2012.
Mostly these features are for Fault Tolerance, High Availability, and Hyper-V (Microsoft's VM architecture). I'd like to ask a few questions to everyone on this list, I assume most of us have some kind of windows systems running somewhere. Are you planning on upgrading anything right now? (Assuming it's 2003 or 2008(r2) already) Has anyone tested how reliable the High Availability features are? (NIC Teaming, Clustering, Etc.) Is there a feature that you really really want? I am excited to see a few things; winrm is turned on by default powershell is now front and center (and loads fast) systems may be upgraded/downgraded from server-core at will. -- Joseph A Kern [email protected]
