Yeah, we have a few of those, and in our experience, they look like a great idea, but actually aren't (for general purpose, mixed-vendor rack hardware). These cables also make it impossible to have two vertical PDUs mounted next to each other (as is supported in many types of racks). If you can absolutely dictate all of your hardware, power requirements, etc, and do not use any other sort of power cable, then I can see them working fine.
