Do yourself a favor, and see if your new employer will pay for an ISA certification. https://www.pcisecuritystandards.org/approved_companies_providers/become_isa.php It will give you the knowledge you need to keep your environment PCI compliant, and it gives you a voice during your internal audits. Now, if there is already an ISA on staff, perhaps talking with them about it would be a good idea.
