True enough, but it doesn't speak to the "just following the law" defense,
in the case where a soldier might think that the law is wrong and should
not be followed.

(You may or may not think that about this law. But that's presumably what
Snowden thought -- that he was breaking the law, but that the law was so
immoral that it was better to break it than to obey it.)
