sI've heard Sublime recommended by several people, but it's $70... is it really worth it, versus using something like MacVim instead? Opinions from people who have used it would be helpful.
Also, I'm looking to monitor my SIP trunks in Asterisk via Nagios. Most of the scripts I saw on NagiosExchange seemed to be related to "sip show peers" which will show all peers, such as the client phones. I'm more interested in something that will parse the status of "sip show registry" instead, which only shows my two trunks (BroadVoice and Anveo). Should I just bite the bullet and write a monitor myself, or does someone know of something out there? I also was connected to my Asterisk console the other day and found someone brute force scanning my server, trying one extension at a time in rather rapid succession. Anyone know of something along the lines of a fail2ban config for people trying to hack the server, or should I work on limiting my incoming SIP connections from BV/Anveo (I'm concerned about IP changes causing failures, especially without a monitor like in the previous paragraph). Thanks for any suggestions! -- ~*~ StormeRider ~*~ "Every world needs its heroes [...] They inspire us to be better than we are. And they protect from the darkness that's just around the corner."
