I've been experimenting with asterisk and SIP trunks from callcentric. ‎You can
also get reduced feature asterisk installs for free from pbxes.com, also have a
paid tier.

Thanks, but, I have several phones, as well as android phone with GV app
installed. My big complaint has been a lot of dropped calls at precisely 15
minutes 30 seconds, or precisely 30 minutes. It doesn't matter if I'm receiving
inbound or making outbound calls, with GV app or GV callback, or if I'm even
using any android device. (Inbound calls that I answer on landline, same
problem.) So I'm confident the GV app is not the cause of any problems here.
