That sounds like a good set of intervals to encourage lapsed members to
rejoin... I'd not find two emails *too* annoying...
I still think we should send a email to all past members once a year, unless
they specifically ask us to stop doing so. Once a year is low enough that it
isn't spam, and good enough to remind people who ignore all other reminders
because they were too busy at the time (or couldn't afford, or whatever were
their reasons).
