I like Matt's definition, though I might change 'computer infrastructure'
to 'technology infrastructure'.  Systems Administration to me encompasses
everything from front-line help desk technicians (who are maintaining the
end-user desktop and mobile systems) to SREs writing code to automate
deployment and management of hundreds of thousands of systems.  I don't
care if you're dealing with end users, racks of hardware, global networks,
or APIs...   its all part of Systems Administration.

I'll also refer to a message I sent last summer describing many types of
SAs and why they're all welcome in LOPSA.
