That sounds a good plan to me - a parallel track. I understand that the first two days are dedicated to a collaborative developer forum between the Linux Foundation Networking projects and the next two days for keynotes and conference tracks. But a dedicated room either on Monday-Tuesday or on Wednesday-Thursday does not seem like a big ask. Also I doubt all the ODL (or ONAP, FD.io, etc.) developers would be wanting to be part of the collaborative developer forum all the time - we can have one or a half day collaborative between projects & one day dedicated for ODL specific topics. Alternately - we can have the developer track during the keynotes/conference tracks.
If that simply cannot work - then my vote would be for Sunday or Friday. But we will miss on attracting/recruiting some folks who have come to the ONS anyway or currently working on other communities. Also many people find it hard to attend for 5 full days of an event due to other commitments.
