Helmut,

We appreciate the gratitude. We've worked really hard on this site and
want it to be something we can all be super proud of.

We also, appreciate your concerns, indeed its now the very first item
on the Agenda with our vendor today. I will report back in a few hours
with our intended course of action.

As for a freezing period. I think we can/should do a freeze *after*
FOSS4G but before we go live (intended for the end of the month, but
that may be ambitious now).

We also need to consider other areas of the site. For instance, we
have some entities registered as GeoForAll Labs which do not belong
there and also several Resources that could do with some review. So,
rest assured we are considering ALL of these things now and will
continue engaging the community for feedback along the way.

Thanks to everyone for speaking up. Again, lets focus on having a big
tent with as many people/groups/projects under it as can fit (and when
we run out of space, build an even bigger tent!). In my opinion, this
is why FOSS4G is such a successful event ... as everyone is welcome to
present their work and engage the community regardless whether its a
project in its infancy, or using some long established project that is
only now being adapted to Geospatial.

Hope to see many of you saturday and we can discuss all these things in person.

Have a great FOSS4G! Ill be in on Thursday for the Gala.

Jeff
